Experienced Nanny/Governess – Summer Travel Role | London & Florida | UAE-Based British Family | Potential to Become Permanent
A warm and welcoming British family based in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced, kind, and energetic Nanny/Governess to provide engaging and enjoyable sole charge care for their two bright daughters, aged 4 and 6, during their summer travels.
There is potential for the role to become permanent and relocate to the UAE with the family if all goes well; however, this is neither mandatory nor guaranteed.
The family is looking for a professional and experienced candidate with a sound understanding of Key Stage 1 and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), who can support the children’s ongoing learning throughout the summer — particularly reading development for the eldest child — while creating fun, engaging, and play-based educational activities for both girls.
The family is also happy to consider candidates who are unavailable for the USA portion of the trip. In this case, the role would become a daily (live-out) Nanny/Governess position during the family’s time in Hounslow, conveniently located 5–10 minutes from the Piccadilly Line.

- 6th July – 24th July: UK (Hounslow)

- 18th August: Family returns to the UAE
Hours

Accommodation
Whilst in the USA, private accommodation, meals whilst on duty, and all travel expenses will be provided. A live-out candidate is preferred whilst based in London.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be flexible, warm, patient, proactive, organised, and genuinely enjoy working with young children. A clear enhanced DBS check registered on the UK Government Update Service and up-to-date paediatric first aid certification are essential.
Applicants must also be able to provide a minimum of two contactable recent previous employer references.
If available for travel to Florida candidates must hold a passport permitting ease of international travel and be legally able to travel to the USA.
