HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I LOOK FOR CHILDCARE?
Generally speaking you should allow at least 8 weeks to find and employ a suitable in-home childcare professional. The interview process can take time and often candidates will need to give their current employers notice of anything between 4 – 12 weeks. Some families start their search as early as 6 months in advance to ensure that everything is in place before they need their childcare to begin.
