BRAND NEW | PART-TIME INFANT NANNY OPPORTUNITY | OXTED, RH8 | UP TO £21GPH

BRAND NEW | PART-TIME DAILY NANNY OPPORTUNITY | OXTED, RH8 | UP TO £21GPH

A warm, welcoming and professional family based in the picturesque town of Oxted is seeking an experienced, nurturing and proactive Part-Time Daily Nanny to provide exceptional care for their baby daughter, three days per week.

This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a dedicated nanny who is passionate about supporting babies through their earliest developmental milestones. The family are looking for somebody kind, organised and attentive who will provide a safe, stimulating and loving environment whilst becoming a valued and trusted part of their family life. Both parents have professional careers, and Mum will be returning to work at the end of September following maternity leave.

Children: The role involves caring for one delightful (currently) 7-month-old little girl who is happy, active and endlessly curious about the world around her. She particularly enjoys music, singing, playing percussion instruments and exploring her surroundings through sensory experiences. The family are keen to find a nanny who will nurture her curiosity and confidently support her development through engaging, age-appropriate play and enriching daily experiences.

The Role: This is a sole-charge, live-out position centred around providing exceptional care for one young child, alongside light household support to help the family home run smoothly. The successful candidate will maintain established feeding, sleeping and play routines whilst creating a stimulating environment that encourages confidence, independence and exploration. The role offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoor adventures, local classes, sensory activities, music sessions and playdates, ensuring each week is varied, enjoyable and tailored to the child’s individual stage of development.

The family would also value a nanny who enjoys taking ownership of their role by planning weekly menus and activities in advance, ensuring each week is thoughtfully organised and tailored to their daughter’s developmental stage and interests.

Core Duties: Childcare will remain the priority throughout the day. Alongside providing attentive, development-focused care, responsibilities will include preparing bottles and nutritious age-appropriate meals whilst supporting weaning, maintaining feeding and nap routines, planning stimulating developmental activities, attending local classes (including, ideally, swimming) and playgroups, reading, singing, sensory play, arts and crafts, outdoor walks and exploration, keeping the nursery and play areas clean and organised, undertaking all child-related laundry including ironing, washing and sterilising bottles, and helping maintain an organised environment.

The family would also welcome occasional assistance with light household tasks, including accepting supermarket deliveries, purchasing household essentials when required, washing and hanging family laundry when convenient, and preparing simple batch-cooked meals for the family only when time allows.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be warm, patient and highly organised, with a genuine passion for caring for babies and supporting early years development. They will be confident working independently, communicate well with parents and take pride in providing exceptional childcare within a professional family home.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years’ relevant professional childcare experience, ideally caring for babies of a similar age, together with a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent).

The successful candidate must hold a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification, together with an Enhanced DBS Certificate (or be willing to obtain one), and be able to provide at least two recent contactable references. Candidates must also have the right to work in the UK.

A full UK driving licence is essential. A family vehicle will be available for use whilst on duty if required, therefore the nanny will not be expected to use their own vehicle.

One parent may occasionally work from home.

Hours of Work: Monday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00am–7:00pm.

Start Date: Ideally 14th September 2026, allowing for a preferred two-week handover period ahead of Mum’s return to work on 28th September 2026. Exceptional candidates with availability to commence during the week beginning 21st September 2026 are also encouraged to apply.

Salary: Up to £21 gross per hour / £39,312 gross per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
