✨ A friendly, professional family based very close to Newmarket, Suffolk (CB8) is seeking a reliable and experienced part-time daily nanny to care for their two young daughters aged 26 months and 12 months old. Both children are happy, smiley and chatty, and love spending time outdoors, playing and exploring. This is a long-term, live-out, sole charge role. The family are happy to wait for the right candidate and can arrange interim cover if required. A safe and confident driver with their own roadworthy vehicle is essential ✨

➤ Core hours required:
Monday: 8.00am – 6.00pm
Tuesday: 8.00am – 6.00pm
➤ Salary: Up to £19 gross per hour / £19,760 gross per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
➤ Pets: Two friendly dogs (Labrador & Jack Russell)
➤ Driver: Yes – nanny must have a full driving licence and use their own car with fuel costs for work trips reimbursed at 0.45p per mile (parking provided).
➤ Duties include:
Sole-charge care of both children, supporting their development through age-appropriate activities, play and outings. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking meals for the children (including batch cooking for the freezer), driving them to activities, managing children’s laundry, keeping play and toy areas tidy, and maintaining calm, consistent routines.
➤ Candidate requirements:
The family are seeking a nanny who is warm, capable and confident with toddlers. A minimum Level 2 childcare qualification is preferred but not essential. The nanny must be Ofsted registered or willing to register at the expense of the family. Experience level is flexible, and the family are open to discussion regarding a nanny bringing their own child.
To be considered, you must:
✅ Live in the UK and have the right to work here
✅ Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
✅ Be willing to become registered with Ofsted at the expense of the family
✅ Provide a minimum of two recent, contactable employer references
✅ Hold (or be willing to complete) a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate
✅ Be a confident driver
