A warm, professional and welcoming family based in Barrington, CB22 are seeking an experienced, reliable and nurturing Part-Time Nanny to support their morning routine and provide attentive care for their young daughter.
This is a lovely opportunity for a dependable and organised candidate who enjoys supporting a family during the busiest part of the day and who can bring calm, efficiency and warmth to the morning routine.
The family are looking for someone who is confident working independently, uses initiative and can provide consistent, dependable support within a kind and respectful household.
The role involves caring for: One child starting school this September.
The Role
This position is primarily focused on morning support, helping the family with getting their daughter ready for the day and managing school drop-offs in Cambridge (8.5 miles away door to door).
Typical duties will include:
- Supporting the child’s morning routine
- Helping her get ready for school
- Preparing breakfast and getting her organised for the day
- School drop-offs
- Providing warm, attentive and age-appropriate care
- Helping ensure mornings run smoothly and calmly for the family
This role would suit a candidate who is punctual, calm, engaging and able to create a positive start to the child’s day.
Days & Hours
Term time only (35 weeks per year)
- Wednesday: 7:00am – 9:00am
- Thursday: 7:00am – 9:00am
- Friday: 7:00am – 9:00am
The Ideal Candidate

- A safe and confident driver, parking provided
Essential Requirements
- Must be willing to use their own vehicle for work purposes with fuel reimbursed
- Live in the UK and have the right to work here
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Provide a minimum of two contactable employer references
- Hold (or be willing to complete) a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience (nannying or nursery work)
- Ofsted registered or willing to become Ofsted registered at the expense of the family

HOW TO APPLY
