⭐️ Are you a kind, organised, energetic and reliable nanny who enjoys supporting school-aged children with routines, homework, and calm after-school care? ⭐️

✨ A warm and welcoming family based in Cambridge (CB1) is seeking a part-time, live-out nanny to support their two children aged 12 and 8 during after-school hours. This role would suit someone nurturing, patient and proactive, with a genuine interest in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, learning, and independence. A driver is not required for the role; however, the family can provide off road parking ✨

➤ Start date: 4th March 2026 (an immediate start could also be arranged).

➤ Core hours required:

  • Monday: 4.00pm – 7.00pm
  • Wednesday: 4.00pm – 7.00pm (Weeks 2–5 of the month) 4.00pm – 9.00pm (Week 1 of the month)
  • Thursday: 4.00pm – 7.00pm

➤ The family can provide 12-16 hours per week during school holiday periods however, hours may vary from those above with adequate notice.

➤ Additional hours:

  • Up to 2 hours housekeeping per week available if desired

➤ Salary: Up to £25.00 gross per hour, depending on previous experience

➤ Pets: One cat

➤ Duties include School pick-ups, preparing and batch-cooking meals for the children, supporting homework, assisting with evening routines, children’s laundry, and changing beds fortnightly. You will also take the children to their scheduled activities: piano lessons on Wednesdays and maths tutoring on Fridays. Light household support relating to the children would be very much appreciated.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised, and confident supporting school-aged children with learning, structure and routine in a calm, respectful way.

To be considered, you must:

✅ Live in the UK and have the right to work here
✅ Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
✅ Provide a minimum of two contactable employer references
✅ Hold (or be willing to complete) a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate
✅ Have at least 1 year of professional nannying experience

✅ Be confident in your ability care for children of different ages and temperaments symaltaneously

Competitive, dependent on experience and availability. Up to £23.00 gross per hour

HOW TO APPLY

You must live and have the right to work in the UK.

You must have an enhanced DBS on the Gov. update system or be willing to apply for one immediately.

You must have a minimum of two immediately contactable previous employer references.

You must have an up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate or be willing to complete one.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years previous professional experience of caring for children of a similar ages.

A formal childcare qualification is not essential for this position; it is more important that the Nanny is a good match personality wise.
